Is it OK to slow English down to improve listening?

September 24, 2019 , by Dr Julian Northbrook

Watch this video for my answer: https://vimeo.com/361951814 Put simply, the way you learn should always match the way you'll actually use English. So the problem with slowing something down is that it's unrealistic, and although you'll be able to understand your audio... you won't be able to understand people in conversation. Which isn't very helpful. [Julian]
