Stop pissing and moaning about your English and just get on with it

Another 2k spent on flights.
Yay…?
In June I’m off to Dublin for a few days, then Cork and finally London for my
Small Talk Superhero event.
Just over two weeks in total…
And honestly?
It’s going to cost a fortune.
Just the flight cost me 2k, then there’s two weeks of hotels to take into account, not to mention the cost of the venue for
STS and if I get someone to come in and help me record the show, it’ll cost even more.
But here’s the thing…
Pissing and moaning about the cost is useless.

This is the same for English.
I once knew someone who did business with Americans and constantly complained about the fact they spoke English as a first language, and he didn’t.
"It’s not fair", he’d moan.
And no, I guess not.
But the world isn’t fair. And importantly, there’s nothing he could do about it other than (1) improve his English or (2) quit his job.
Pissing and moaning doesn’t help anyone.
Best,
Julian

It’s not my speciality, and it’s not you thing. In fact, I actively dislike the testing industry and teaching for tests. But, although I
